I stumbled upon this gem by accident, searching the web for an authentic baking course that would take me through the stages of sourdough baking from the beginning to the end. I was a novice to bread baking but had lots of experience in the kitchen.

What I found and experienced was far beyond my imagination.
Pat has managed skillfully to create an overall baking experience that includes theory but mainly a lot of hands-on in the most amazing setting you can imagine: a middle-age French village ...you are surrounded by baking tradition and the beautiful firewood oven that Pat works with is the cherry on the cake.

We spent five magnificent days in great company and amazing food.
